Our best showing was in the 30s with players that were born in Europe. The answer is no. Soccer is popular here, but in reality the money isn't as good as other sports. Basically we need to be handing soccer balls out in the ghettos instead of basketballs. Its the easiest sport to play. You need something round and you can create a goal out of rocks. That's why these poor arse countries are so good. Cus soccer is the easiest cheapest sport to play. Pele learned to play with fricking coconuts. We will probably never win a world cup.
