Cool. The 3rd game is that bad?
The game itself isn't that bad, it was promised your choices would matter and they didn't, the war resources really aren't that important either. It's a good play if you are not focused on those things, it's not the game play that people are always hating on.
This is probably the best series ever made.

This.
And the third game isn't as bad as everyone (Scruffy) is saying. The ending was pretty atrocious, but the modified it and it is not palatable. The rest of the game is solid and full of feels (may you find peace, my Salarian Scientist friend).

This. I've played through the series a few times now and I have no issues with 3.
Plus the multiplayer in 3 is surprisingly fun.

ME3 just isn't in the same ballpark as the other two. It's playable, just after you play 2, don't expect anything even close to that good.
The ending to ME2 is probably the most well designed game sequence of all time. Just perfect.
Every choice you've made in both games including who you bring makes a difference.

Just don't have your volume turned up when the reapers attack

I enjoyed 2 while I had my 360 but never finished. Will be tempted to buy on Steam at some point.

Remember, Don't choose to save a certain someone because of tits. I mean I did but her tits are nice.

I think I'm gonna do a 1 and 2 play through because of this thread.

3 is great as well. BioWare was so ambitious with the inter connected games and fell just short.

I've seriously beaten 1 and 2 a combined 17 times. The trilogy 22 times.

So far, so good. Just got my ship. This game just opened up with a ton of options once I got the ship.

I played through all Mass Effect games on Origin over last month and they are amazing.
1 is extremely short though unless you do the side activities.
In 2, make sure you do all the loyalty missions for the best chance at keeping your squad alive.
The ending in 3 was kind of lame. I understood what they were going for, but there was virtually no build up whatsoever and it left you just scratching your head.
My biggest complaints about 3 are that it's basically a direct sequel to the first game and your squadmates in ME2 only make cameo apperances. Also, you can't holster your weapon ever.
If you buy any DLC for 3 at all, make SURE you buy Citadel -- especially if you romanced a ME2 character.

It was a great way to finish the trilogy.
The Shadowbroker DLC is still the best DLC I have ever played for any game.

If they release this for PS4 I'm going to have to play it all again
