This is exactly the kind of guy we need for this offense. We already possession guy in Colston, mid-range/TD threat in Graham, and a younger speed guy in Stills. Jackson would be a good mix of all 3 of those and I know CSP loves him some reverses.

Unfortunately the money and off the field questions are whats gonna keep him out of NO. Although I bet his off the field attitude could change if had a sit down with Brees

Desean would be awesome in our offense with SP. SP would draw up some sproles-ish type mismatches and decoy the crap out of him as well making jimmy and Colston unstoppable. You can't be a knucklehead in our locker room. We have leadership. Philly didn't and still doesn't. Our culture doesn't Allow bs

Then how come they couldn't trade him? And PHI made it sound like that was before the gang BS was completely revealed. Remember, who turned in a shite year behind money a few seasons back. If he wasn't damaged he wouldn't have been straight cut

If they didn't know that before they drafted him then they have a shitty front office. It only became an "issue" now because they wanted to get rid of him.

OK inside guy, so why did they REALLY want to release him if his increased gang affiliation is a smoke screen?

A team could have given the Eagles pretty much any draft pick and gotten him on a 3yr/$30m deal with ZERO guaranteed money, and there were no takers. I'm thinking he gets around $7m/yr, same as Decker got, but with some flexibility for a team to cut him somewhat easily.

Typical diva WR behavior, his current cap number, not a Chip Kelly player.

I disagree with this, I think his cap hit and how easily he was cut from the books has much more to do with it. Even if Jackson does have "gang affiliations" his record is basically spotless for the average NFL player. If the Eagles owed him another say 10-15 mil in guaranteed, he would still be an Eagle.

If Loomis can make it happen, I'm all for it. Nearly everyone agrees with need another playmaking WR, and why draft one when you could get a proven guy? He seems to be the missing piece to this offense that could really set us over the top. And you do not want this guy on the Panthers who I'm sure will go after him hard

Yeah, however the Panthers have quickly said No.

The Panthers are in full on tank mode for the season.

More teams with more money that will overpay for him

If he wanted to play for a winner and sign a cheap deal then of course we have a shot but he's selfish he wants money not a ring

Yeah, you wouldn't allow that BS on the field, but who's to say he won't go and shoot someone?
