This is awesome.

Posted on the OT this morning, but in case some of you don't venture over there I thought I'd put it here as well. This is a cool arse dad.

I love the puddle and water hose vids.

I believe if you click play on the first one, it cycles through the playlist (12 videos and they're all about 10-15 seconds).

Damn. Thats awesome

I wonder what he used to make those?

Edited to add:

Now it all makes sense

quote:

Daniel Hashimoto, a DreamWorks animator based in Los Angeles, used his skills to turn his son into a superhero with unfathomably cool powers and gadgets in a series of videos called "Action Movie Kid."

"I made them mostly because he is really funny and imaginative," Hashimoto told the Daily News. "James doesn't watch TV or movies very much. We play tons of games with him throughout the day."

quote:

Hashimoto has been an After Effects artist with DreamWorks Animation for about a decade. He's worked on "How to Train Your Dragon" and "Kung Fu Panda 2."
