I have 2 friends that bought houses in the last year to 18 months- one in Ft. Worth and one in Heartland, TX.
Ft. Worth- 5 BR, 3 BA, 3000+ SF- $189,000
Heartland- 4 BR, 3 BA, 2800 SF- $190,000
These are brand new houses in brand new subdivisions. I couldn't believe how cheap housing was over there.
