It is all due to Obamacare. This is just the tip of the iceberg. More uninsured than before Obamacare, medicare and medicaid have cut reimbursements, and private insurers base their payments off of the medicare rates. This equals more uninsured using the hospitals as a clinic, and the ones who use it correctly, their insurance is barely covering the cost of their care. Thanks Obama

Natchez Regional has been teetering on bankruptcy for many years.
People with any money in NTZ either go to BR or Jackson for any major medical needs. Natchez Regional gets the very routine procedures and the poors.

As much as I would like to blame Obama this one is not his doing. Natchez Regional has gone to shite over the last 20 years. Couple this with compitition from a smaller hospital in town and outpatient surgeries and they have been doomed for some time now.
