To my surprise most locals really dislike Vergo's Rendezvous. We didnt get a chance to check them out as they were closed.

Rendezvous hate is nothing but people's need to chop down the tallest daisy. I've been there 3 times and had great meals all three times. Not to mention the location and building is just cool as frick. Not claiming they are the worlds greatest ribs, but they are very good and the experience is neat. Go to the Peabody at 4:30 to have a couple of drinks in the lobby and watch the ducks. Then walk over to the rendezvous for some ribs and then over to Beale St. Always makes for a good night.

Better go down before then. My mom and I did last Saturday, and it was a mob scene at like 4. People were already gathering at like 2:45 when we got back from Graceland

I recommend going to see the Ducks in the morning (Lobby was completely empty at 10 am and they come down at 11), then going to eat at wherever you want to for lunch
