No doubt. But look at the context in which I wrote that statement. I was saying that our "poor" are clearly not starving....which before us, never happened in human history.

So, how was my post about capitalism being moral and a huge benefit to society "regurgitated programming"?

What never happened before in human history?

People are starving, lots and lots of people. Our food system and demand is to blame for starving people all of the world. It's absolutely understood that capitalism works in the sense you've described; it's gotten a nation(s) fat while billions starve, even members of the fat nation.

The problem with making explanations is they require a lot of effort, it's not like these one liner principles that have been engrained in you, things take long and deep explanations that often times have contradictory elements that have to be worked out. That kind of dialogue doesn't work in this setting and giving of the effort needed to attempt it isn't usually worth it.
