"48 minutes from everybody, whether you're playing a lot or not".

I like and appreciate the sentiment, but

We couldn't even practice 5 on 5 and we just beat a western conference playoff team. One guy healthy on the team tonight had logged the majority of his minutes at a Guard position.

Davis had an off game shooting and still had 16/13/6 with 4 assists, 2 steals. Contributing when the shot is off is key. The 1 huge turbo rebound was huge.

Damn. We'd only be a half game out of the playoffs in the East.

We just went out and beat the Clippers with Davis, Evans, and a bunch of back ups. That should give us a lot of hope for next season but as always, I'm being conservatively optimistic. Mainly cause I don't trust Monty at all. It seems like when we have a full healthy squad he just sits back and let's guys do their own thing. But when we have guys playing who need a lot of in game coaching, he shows up and and pushes all the right buttons. I just don't get it.

I think you have this bass ackwards. Monty said that he pretty much didn't do anything for this game and that his players responded. It's when Monty micromanages too much that things become a massive problem.

To his credit tonight, he gave the players ALL the credit in the postgame interview and actually downplayed how much impact he had.

But is it just me or do we always seem to play well when we have some starters that a bruised up. Seems strange the coach would relinquish control of a game when he's got a handful of key players out against the best team in the league.

Then again, we're out of the playoffs and with nothing to lose so I can understand him just letting the guys play.

It's pretty bad when your team performs better when your coach doesn't do shite as opposed to when he actually tries to coach.
