I appreciate the replies so far

My first truck was a ford, and my current truck is a used 2011 Ram 1500 (37,000 miles) both regular cab. I had issues with my Ford, having to replace a lot things on it (it was older so that is to be expected) and haven't had issues with my Ram so far. I've heard a lot of good things about both, so those two are a toss up at the moment. My co-worker drives a Tacoma and loves it, traded his 2007 with 140,000 miles for a 2014 and hasn't had any issues with either. I've driven his and liked it, but my only complaint is the steering. That's why its in the mix as a contender as well. Again, thanks for the replies.

The Tacoma shouldn't even be in the conversation.

I had an 06 Tacoma and loved it. Great truck and never had any issues with it. I got a Lariat F150 October before last and I love it too. The two trucks are just way to different to compare. Tacoma is much smaller, much less power, and floats over mud because of the weight. F150 is much more roomy, powerful, and more of a utility truck than the Tacoma. It also feels (and is) huge compared to a Tacoma.

My Tacoma was a badass though. I put that truck through some serious shite.
