I have a serious question. If the bats are the same for everyone then how is a single piece of equipment killing the game? If it was not for the money involved I would not mind seeing wood bats back in the NCAA.

I would not want my son to be on the pitchers mound against a team like the 2009 Tigers. We are lucky that team did not kill a pitcher from another team. The live bat and live ball are just too dangerous with the bigger, stronger, athletes of today. Go stand around with the LSU baseball team. Those boys are not boys..... they are FULL GROWN BIG MEN. The bats, and the dead ball, are necessary for the safety of all players including the ones wearing P&G.
