I don't think anyone should question ULL's quality.

I'm pro-LA, and, if being honest about it, probably enjoy the atmosphere at Moore Field as much as Alex Box. After 3 Abita Ambers, I know I like it better. Lol

The question won't be ULL's quality of play. It will be are they peaking too early? ThaT's what I would be worried about.

I know ULL banged the shite out of the ball last year too.

I agree you want to peak at the right time. But the one difference this UL team has that we didn't have last year is deep pitching. We now have 2 legitimate Aces with former LSU pitcher Carson Baranik lighting it up just like Robichaux. And our bullpen is stronger.

Our team ERA is 2.25 and team batting avg. now at .303 with 29 bombs. We have multiple quality arms to be able to take us through a regional, something we didn't have at all last year. We had to rely on 1 Ace and a few blue collar guys that could get it done. Not so this year.

And yes, beer at the Tigue is fricking awesome.

Yes, pitching has improved, too.

You just can't argue with their record. Only someone insane would deny them their due.

Quality of competition may hurt them as the season progresses though. I just don't see where they get battle tested. And there's always the Robichaux Factor to consider. He's wasted an opportunity or two in his tenure. Lol
