Check to make sure there are no teeth loose or hurting as well as an gums inflamed in her mouth.

If no

Put a couple of spoonful of bacon drippings or warm butter on top of dry feed

I feed my catahoula Victor Select High Energy. Its $35-40 for a 40 lb bag at your local feed store.

Never tried her on bacon. What I do is, get a 24 lb bag of Pedigree adult complete nutrition, along with a can of chopped beef or chopped chicken canned food. Pour her bowl with some dry and then drizzle some of the wet food on top then mix it all together and she'll lick that bowl dry .

But hell if bacon works then I'll def try that.

For they guy who says get her checked by a vet, she actually was scheduled to go on Friday but got caught up and worked a little OT. I'll be sure to bring her in this Wednesday though, off day.

Dribbling some honey on the food works well and is easier than bacon grease.
