And yes EB Worrilds will be one starter but they cut their other starter so he'll at least get a chance at starting.

You got V right!
Besides most folks who are the harshest critics are the one's that don't participate in the first place.
Whomever they may be.

I kept switching between Mingo and Vacarro until we signed Butler.

I called Cam two years before too.
I got this.....

COOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm as draftaholic as anyone around here. Still, I fall back on trusting the front office. Reading draft bloggers and 5 minutes worth of highlights on players does not make one a scout. I treat it as a fun time like Christmas. I'm anxious to see what is under the tree and try to guess what's in the box before it gets opened on draft day.

Look at this list of names-

Ryan Pace Director of Player Personnel
Rick Reiprish Director of College Scouting
Terry Fontenot Director of Pro Scouting
Ryan Powell Pro Scout
Dwaune Jones Regional Scout
Josh Lucas Regional Scout
Brian Adams Area Scout
Mike Baugh Area Scout
Ryan Hollern Area Scout
Jason Mitchell Area Scout
Terry Wooden Area Scout
Joey Vitt, Jr. Combine Scout
Paul Zimmer College Scouting Coordinator
Joey Laine Salary Cap Analyst/Player Personnel
Michael Parenton Scouting Assistant
Casey Talley Scouting Assistant

Can anyone seriously think that message board guys come anywhere close to 16 fulltime employees devoted to researching players? Nah. Still fun tho.

Seems like I've seen this posted before.......

There may be more art and luck involved to successful drafts than science. The science is a part though. That's why teams employ a staff this large-

I get draftaholic over how much it can affect your team. The Ellis type busts are why the defense has been poor. The Colston, Evans, and Grahams have been essential to mantaining a top 5 offense for 7 seasons now. A comparable "hit"or two on defense like those offensive guys could make the team a juggernaut. Clay Matthews a #26, Daryl Washington a #47, William Moore a #55, Sean Smith a #61, Navarro Bowman a #91, Geno Atkins a #120 are lower type picks that have had major impact on defenses.

A #75 Corey Lemonier, Brandon Williams, or Jonathan Cyprien type might end up being that kinda guy. That's where the science part of deciding who comes into play.

Hmmmmmm....

EB was in that thread being the voice of reason like a boss. For some reason I wasn't around much.

The best mock I've seen so far is Rob Rang of CBS.
He has your boy going earlier to the j.e.t.s.
Since they usually are screw ups in the draft perhaps you are good.

Perhaps Payton will pick another safety and send the board into a vortex of confusion and dismay again

Permanent 3-3-5 with Byrd, KV and Pryor would be pretty sexy
