It's just funny that as many first rounders as the FO has missed on, the one they get right gets the biggest meltdown

I'm feeling its going to be a WR unless a corner/DL is there that they covet.

No, I meant people having a meltdown over who we pick will happen.

That's not really much of a prediction, that's a guarantee.

Every move the Saints make there will be a meltdown crowd

Texas had an awful defense the year we drafted Vacarro. He didnt have stats because he was avoided...or could it have been interpreted that it was because there were so many other people to pick on why press on one of the few players they had with some skill.

Jarvis played in the SEC and whether you are an LSU fan or not just about everybody around here follows them and had seen what Jones was at the collegiate level.

Will Smith was a penciled in starter at OLB heading into preseason...I stand by my stance in that heading into the draft we needed an OLB.

Also due to the fact that the Saints missed on Cushing and Matthews in favor of Malcom Jenkins back in 09....I think alot of us allowed that to cloud our judgement past the point of reason which is what ultimately fueled the meltdown to levels of absolute retardation...but hey on the flip side...if Kenny reads this page or had people read it to him...maybe it served as fuel...wishful thinking

regardless i changed my mind on him as soon as Will Smith went down with an injury and saved our season. Along with Kenny starting fights with everyone in practice including Jimmy Graham(that was before I thought Jimmy could get punked)

It got to the point where I couldnt wait to unleash this guy and in the first game of the season when he drew the flag for popping a sliding defenseless Matt Ryan in the rib cage I was in love.

Hahaha... I'm such a dumbass. I admitted that I totally overreacted. I'm still worried about Vacarro's durability, but he has been a great player so far.

My 3 off the wall predictions for 27 that's going to cause everyone to meltdown this year are:

1. One of the TEs (Ebron, Seferian-Jenkins, Amaro).
2. Su'a-Filo (G, UCLA. This pick would be looking ahead to next year to cut one of our high paid OGs)
3. Shaizer (ILB, Ohio State. Same as above). Mosley, if he falls, would be another.

I won't say I was upset by the draft choice, I believe I said it was the safest pick available. Only reason I wanted Jones was because there were a lot of question marks in regards to our LBs going into the season (and there still are, albeit not as many as last off-season). The secondary was obviously bad in 2012, but it's really hard to determine how bad a defense is (and why) when just about anyone can run or pass on you like that.

No matter what they had to gamble - either address LB or Secondary, depending on which one is the worst. And it looks like last year's draft and FA moves are a result of making a well-informed bet.

A 300 pound man and a pile of motherfrickers fell on his leg. That's not durability that's bad luck. To me durability is tweaking a hamstring or something more controllable.

Just goes to show how many uninformed experts who know more than the front office are on this board. This is why I never get pissed at any picks which are made, regardless if I expected it or even liked it. These guys study film and players to a level we will never comprehend, and they know what they want/need for this team. We are just fly-by-night viewers with a passing understanding of the game's details. How about this draft we don't pass harsh judgements and threaten to burn our faces off with toothpaste? Maybe if we start trusting this organization a little more, we can show that we aren't all the bunch of idiots that we have shown ourselves to be in the past.

Yeah, this will never happen. We are too judgemental and reactionary like a 2 year old who pitches a fit when he doesnt get his way.
