I am extremely excited that I am only one week away from not having to watch this shite for 6 months.

I don't get this. I watched Homeland for a few seasons, realized it wasn't for me anymore and just quit watching it. Same with The X Files when Duchovny left (faithful fan for YEARS) and The Office when Carrell left. Why torture yourself with a show you hate or aren't interested in anymore?

because he is interested in starting a thread that really serves no purpose other than him drumming up a lot of Walking Dead trolls

Seriously? Just them? Every single character is more boring than the next, they all suck arse

The Rickcentric eps I fast forwarded through most of it, I have not done that with the other characters.

I know most people hated Lori but the Lori/Rick/Shane drama was atleast interesting.

I love then. A lot of characters getting some extra screen time, building some interesting dynamics. And last week's episode was fantastic. Very good writing. Carol confessing, not holding back on children getting completely messed up. Just good stuff.

If you didn't like last week's episode then the Walking Dead isn't for you. The feedback on it has been overwhelmingly positive.

I'm literally only watching because I've seen every episode, I hate every single minute of this season. I get so excited when I look at the time remaining in the episode and it's around 5 min or less.

First world problems, man.

But if I was you, I would've moved on a long time ago.

I honestly think The Walking Dead has to be one of the toughest jobs on tv. The danger has to be believable enough and that means characters have to die, but they also have to introduce the characters and give them screen time so we care when people die. I'm not sure TWD has done the best job of balancing all of those things.

I love WD. With that being said, I feel like them pissing away entire episodes on the Governor earlier this season was underwhelming and gave you a disconnect from the characters that we know (and actually care about).

Now with the group being split up, there is still a disconnect. The show hasn't had a chance to redeem itself and won't be able to until the group reunites IMO. I have faith that they will turn it around and hopefully soon.

Good point here.

One of the worst parts of the show are the zombie fight scenes that happen several times each show.

I mean, I get it, they are dead people that have lots of blood and guts. The shite is played out. The only demographic I can see who still gets up for these parts are males age 12-18

So, what? The writers should start making the zombies burst into giant pink glitter flames when they die? Or maybe they should just write the zombies off the show. That seems completely feasible and I'm sure no one will complain about that.

I do agree that last week's episode was a heavy one and did pull me back in. They still have a long way to go though from the Memoirs of the Governor still in my recent memory.

I Absolutely agree.

When the pudding episode happened, I was thinking the show was done.
But every episode since has been solid and getting better each time.

I actually like them split up and out in the world.
The show is FINALLY giving us some good characterization to differentiate between characters.

Admittedly, I don't like it when the group is split up and it takes forever to get them back together, but this season has been really solid IMO.

Agreed.
