Madden puts way too much emphasis on a handful of ratings to make players elite, especially in leagues that don't utilize the no-switch rule. In a league that doesn't utilize the no switch rule, I would trade away all of my top WRs, and just get guys who are fast as hell regardless of rating. Same thing with corners. As long as they are fast, who cares. QBs with throwing power is all that matters in these types of leagues as well.

All of these theories work great for offline mode.

What is no-switching?

He got to 94 by upgrades. It's a true sim style league but wow. Tyrod Taylor is one who's very overrated also. Had a dude cut Manning and pick up Taylor and won the Super Bowl and MVP with him on All-Madden with sliders. In the league I'm in now he's rated 82 and doesn't start..

no switching means once the ball is in the air, you cannot switch to a different receiver/defender to make a play on the ball. You have to let the CPU catch/defend the pass. On run plays you can still switch to whoever, but as soon as the ball is in the air you can't switch. It makes ratings other than speed a factor.
