That's really what it comes down to

I know it might seem easy to say because my pro team is still a contender, but SA was rock solid in the 90s, too. The NBA is better by leaps and bounds than it was just 10-12 years ago, much less the 80s. Any opinion to the contrary is really just leaning on nostalgia.

My issue with a lot of college players is this:
- Too many guys are poor free throw shooters
- Poor shot selection
- Jump to pass too often
- Set bad screens
- Lack of ball fakes and pump fakes
- Don't catch the ball in triple threat
- No jump stops

A lot of this is due to AAU basketball where you play a bunch of games and never really practice simple things like this. The good thing is a lot of this gets fixed pretty quickly once guys make the league.

The idea that people can't handle the ball and stuff like that is just silly.
