Most likely you would see new religious movements on Earth since it does call into question some aspects of the world's most popular religions

I assume you're talking about Christianity so I'm curious as to why alien life would raise questions about Christianity.

There's nothing in scripture that addresses that issue. Look the Incas and Aztecs thought their religion had a lot of the answers and it turns out the God of the Spanish won out.

We could have a similar scenario.

No kidding! I can just see it now:

Mankind: "Gawd! We are sooo mad at you. Why didn't you TELL us about the other beings?"

Gawd: "Are you KIDDING??? I gave you folks ONE rule...But, you HAD to eat that apple. So, I gave you 10 simple rules...you folks effed that up. So, I said "Look. Just BELIEVE in my Boy. That's all just BELIEVE in JEEBUS! Next thing I know, some BHP asshat is on TD.com misspelling our names and poo-pooing our existence. No. You folks can't HANDLE the full truth!"

Seriously. I'm not a believer. But, can't see how "alien life" would shake one's belief
