I get why they can't call fouls on replay. Because there is always some kind of contact on every play that could be considered a foul. And if the referee wants to be a dick, he COULD call a foul on the replay on whoever he wants.
HOWEVER..
In a circumstance like today where the blatant wrist grab was the REASON that the ball went out of bounds, I think they should be able to say he grabbed his wrist, therefore it is New Mexico's ball.
Maybe still don't call it a foul on the replay, but at least give the right team the ball.
