long story short, coming back from new orleans airport. around the laplace area, i noticed a vehicle approaching from behind at a very high rate of speed, well in excess of 110 mph.
the vehicle blows by me, leaves me in the dust. during this time, he was driving straight, but at a very high rate of speed. about a 1/2 mile up the road, he approaches vehicles in both lanes and nearly hits them. that's when i called *LSP and gave them the description of the vehicle.
In St. James Parish, he pulled over on the side of the road. I immediately recognized his 4 door, silver Ford Focus and called *LSP again. I'm on the phone with LA SP and all of a sudden this vehicle comes flying up right behind me and almost runs into the back of me. Since I am already on the phone with LA SP, I was able to provide license plate number this time.
I stayed on the chase, started flashing him with my lights to get him to slow down, he does for a while, then speeds up, we go at it for about 12 to 15 miles, and he finally gets pulled over in Ascension Parish near LA 73.
He wouldn't stop, but when he finally did, the police took him down. He was drunk. He told me as I was outside, "I don't have any marijuana and I am not drunk." I called him an a-hole and said you were going to get someone killed tonight. Police officer thanked me (Ascension Parish) for calling and pursing, but asked me to return to my vehicle, which I did.
Ended up giving an affidavit and then spoke with a State Trooper who lives pretty close to me. Said the guy was so drunk that when he asked him to put his leg out and stand on one leg, he started grabbing his toes and tried to dance.

I hit 105 mph during the chase but told dispatch I wasn't too comfortable going any faster at night.
Not sure why you think it was ok for you to drive this fast.

Good job Willcover, may have kept him from killing an innocent family or himself.

Congrats on having no life, nothing to do, and no one that cares about you if this is what you do while returning from the airport.
