He's a decent basketball player dude, that's the sport he likes. I don't see this as the media doing anything. His bother in law is a major D 1 college coach for Petes sake. Your reaching for reasons now, but why when there's plenty of real reasons to dislike it make fun of him? Is it you're not intellectually independent?

He's extraordinarily un-athletic. Can he like sports and not be able to play them? Sure. But don't act like he's good at any of them.
