China has a paltry amount of Nukes. Pakistan has as many nukes as China, 250 or so. We have over 2,100.

Not really. None of China's land based weapons have the range to reach the continental US from China and they've only got a handful (literally five or so) ballistic missile submarines.
They could melt Hawaii and wipe out a few major US but that is all.
Russia and the US are the only forces capable of totally obliterating any nation on earth.
