New album, Lost in the Dream is very solid. Highly encourage listening. Picks up where Kurt Vile left off....

We had a pretty good thread on the new album about a week ago. Not trying to play board police or anything, just thought you may want to check it out.

New album is great though. And getting rave reviews.

Cool. Thx. Own alot of Waterboys on vinyl. Not seeing the connect just yet but will keep listening for it

I got the new album today. It's not the kind of music I usually listen to, but I really like it after one listen.

If Dylan, Knopfler, Springsteen and Petty had a love child that liked to play synth you would get this record. Best of 2014 so far for me...

Spun it twice today already, and it's very strong. I haven't heard this dude before, but I read up on him with my allmuic weekly mailer and gave it a fly on spotify. Definitely glad I did! I hear much Springsteen (the quieter Bruce) in it. Oddly enough, I hear a lot of Don Henley in it too.

gave it a third listen tonight while doing housework. I am becoming a huge fan. I've been looking for someone new to follow, and this may be it. Great stuff

I probably streamed it 10 times last week. I need to pick it up.

Ha yes! with the 80's head bob and finger slaps of steering wheel

Turn it up really loud right before the first Whoo!

The best moment in music I have heard in awhile.

Suffering has been my go to song but the entire album is smooth.

Red Eyes is still probably my favorite, but An Ocean in Between the Waves is gaining. The build up in that song is intense.

Right now for me it's Eyes to the Wind. It seems like this song could have been written by Dylan. Or Wilco.
