If you were POTUS you'd be kicking yourself for having no international credibility to draw on, no power to wield, no real options to exercise. You'd be lamenting what could have been. You'd realize we could have had incredible influence thru energy independence, w/ ability to export NatGas. We could have organized and exited Afghanistan two years ago. We could have managed Egypt, Libya, and Syria far differently. We could have handled discussions w/ Dmitry Medvedev differently.

All those horses have bolted. They gone!

All that's left is another round of golf.

I disagree. There is both opportunity and time to take the measures I propose.

In addition, if Russia can prove that it's satisfied with Crimea AND ONLY Crimea, the prospects for any kind of war are reduced to near zero.

I don't propose war with Russia because of Crimea.
