A lot of people think that it's funny. The humor is little smarter than a lot of stuff out there, and it's fairly dense. A person can pick up on a lot of stuff that was missed on rewatches. I actually think it's funnier on a second viewing of an episode.

But really it's a comedy, and you don't like the humor then it's unlikely some explanation is going to suddenly make you get it.
