I've done this twice for tendonitis in my elbow and it worked like a charm. Steroids stopped working so I went to PRP. Next step was going to be surgery. Thankfully the PRP worked.

I have researched a bit. I had a ortho on the northshore that wanted to ginuea pig me with PRP injections so I politely declined, but I have read that it is a new thing with athletes and such. The only thing is insurance does not pay and it is like $500 a pop and they recommend more than one. I might try it if I can find an experienced ortho in the city or somewhere.
