OK. So. Are we of the opinions that the Crimeans in all actuality would prefer to stay in the Ukraine?
And. OK. So, you say that they'd be afraid to protest if they wanted to. Fair enough. But, do they want to? Or, since most of them are Russian, are they in fact happy to not be part of the Ukraine?
I mean, it would helpful to know or at least have a good idea to the answers to these questions in my view.

If I had to guess, I'd say the people of Crimea are sick and tired of the corrupt government of Kyiv, and want no part of the corrupt government in Moscow.
