This thread made me remember Delmas' visit a couple of weeks ago and how I hoped the team could scrounge up money to sign him. I wasn't ecstatic about the thought but figured he would be the absolute best we could afford and without a doubt, safety was a glaring need. Seems like a long time ago.

kinda my point, there was a case to be made how & why for a Should We? Our vision wasn't nearly as far or as creative as Loomis. The lesson: if a player is a perfect fit but seems out of the team budget, don't stop there. Loomis makes it happen!
