Okay, maybe just me. Just wanted to give the Byrd move some thought as to the how and why- since virtually no one saw it coming.

This thread made me remember Delmas' visit a couple of weeks ago and how I hoped the team could scrounge up money to sign him. I wasn't ecstatic about the thought but figured he would be the absolute best we could afford and without a doubt, safety was a glaring need. Seems like a long time ago.
