re: Jenkins admits his tackling needs work

He was a big corner coming out o OSU. If he was to stay at corner he was going to have to play in a cover 2 scheme like in Tampa now or Chicago then. But he is a safety and can't read his angles right that hurts him on top of that he is slow to react. Byrd ran a slower time in the combine but his instincts and reaction times or faster so he can be a ball hawk. Hate is a strong word but he was not a good fit any scheme for us. You will have to have a veteran safety to get him lined up to help him make plays. If Philly plays him in the slot he will be let go by next year.
