Can anyone compare Cox and Eatel from a personal experience? I don't care as much about internet speed as I do tv channels, options, and price. Cox is about $230 a month for high speed internet and all channels plus 2 premiums without a contract. That's 1 DVR too. Just curious how they compare with the latest rates.

If you're concerned about reliability and accountability, Eatel wins in a landslide.

If you're concerned about speed, Eatel wins in a landslide.

If you have the option to choose Eatel in your area, do it and don't look back.

I have been a loyal Eatel fan for some time, but they simply can not seem to fix the tileing issue on our TV service, it is getting old and I am looking to switch to cox, anyone else with the same problem?

Same with us. Pay about the same and have been thinking about switching for a while. Just not convinced enough to pull the trigger on eatel after being with cox out here for years.

Eatel has much better customer service and reliability. I have consistently had far fewer headaches with them than with Cox.

You have an opportunity to join the Eatel master race. Take it.

Eatel has great customer service, reliability and fast speeds. Truly a diamond in the rough. They shite all over cox.

Eatel's light wave is legit too. It also has a great user interface and Cox's interface is more than well a few years behind eatel's.

I was paying 100$ a month for Cox for just internet 50mbs. Using fast.com I was getting 1mbs maybe. Right next to the modem. To be fair I was getting 150mbs if I plugged an Ethernet cable from modem to my laptop, but I’m paying 100$ to get at least 50 around my entire house and that’s not what I’m getting. I called eatel was very pleased with there customer service and after talking I was sold so they are sending a tech to install Tuesday. She said it usually cost 150$ but she Knocked off a 100$ so I had to pay 50$ installation fee, I probably could have fought for more but I was just ready to be done with cox. I call cox after and tell them I’m ready to cancel. He says well I can lower your cost to make you stay (this annoys me and I already called to lower my bill 3 months ago) so I tell him no because I asked months ago to lower my bill and he gives me some excuse that they are only allowed certain discounts a month. I said okay that’s cool cancel my service. So he puts me on hold for 10 minutes then comes back and says he will drop my bill 10$ and give me 300 MBs. I probably would have taken the offer but I already had ordered eatel and I was just sick of cox. So I hang up and they immoderately shut off my internet before I hung up!

Fed up with cox.

I was a Cox customer before moving to the AP. We went to satellite for a little while than Eatel. We have been very satisfied with Eatel’s products and services. They will usually get a technician out the same day if you call early enough.
