So many people are jumping aboard this SG city thing thinking its all about the schools. Do people realize that creating a city will entail us tying a lot more on than we can handle? Taxes will go through the roof.
SG area can handle an ISD not a city. Im all for the ISD.

I think SG can handle being a municipality. I've worked with a lot of municipalities and the workers they have are not the brightest in the box. I think there are people in SG that are smart enough to handle becoming a municipality.

All they wanted was the school district, but the state legislature shot it down. Incorporation is the only way they can get that school district, so that's the last option remaining to them.
