Well he has great scoring ability. He also has fantastic basketball awareness. When I think 3 and D, I think...Sabo Sef, Prince, Battier, those guys. Batum is clearly better than them. I haven't looked at shot charts recently but Batum is one our best finishers inside. He does more than just 3 and D IMO. I think him playing basketball 365 days a year really hurts. Just like it hurts Tony Parker. As nice as it is to play whenever you can against OK/so so competition, you need rest and training with NBA staffs during the off season. FIBA ball will only benefit you up to a certain point. However, if a guy wants to play for his country's team, I can't tell him no. Batum also gets these fingers/wrist injuries all the time. When he does get them, he'll seriously shoot the ball 5 times a game until it's healed.
