The reason we're down on JJ isn't recruiting, it's how unprepared and unmotivated the team looks, even with very good players on the roster. Very poor X & O coaching and seemingly little motivation/passion coming from the bench.

Makes me concerned whether we'll ever be relevant with JJ as coach, even with outstanding talent that he'll bring in.

I love the extremes of the fanbase. One overachieving season, and its "give him a raise", one underachieving, and its "fire him".

The only reason he should be fired after next year is if we dont make the nit and we lose ben simmons.

I'm in the same boat, but I think much of what we're seeing is what basketball has become at mid-pack SEC programs. Hire a recruiter and hope to get that magical mix that can go on a run every 5-10 years.

Sure, there's been big lapses on defense and poor execution on offense, but their biggest problem is they can't shoot. Stringer is about the only player who could consistently hit the broad side of a barn. The whole team needs to spend the next 7-8 months in the gym SHOOTING.

I can understand somewhat but the best players are freshmen. Florida's statters are almost all seniors. This team underachieved but only a little. They're young.
