I agree with this, but what you're saying is different than what SlowFlowPro said. Reread this statement of his:
"i am empathetic, but that doesn't mean that i can stretch my mind to the darkest reaches of irrational thinking"
Empathy means being able to understand why someone feels the way they do while not necessarily agreeing with how their feelings manifest themselves. I probably agree with you on what's ailing the lower socio-economic segment of the Black community. But do you understand why Democrats continue to carry the middle-class and upper middle-class Black vote today?
