im sure he'll get that at a busy professional tryout instead of a being told "what the hell are you doing on this field wasting our time"

I find it hard to believe that anyone who's never played real soccer is a good player. You might be decent with the ball and you might be good at pickup but that doesn't mean anything in a full sided game, much less semi pro.
