I've never heard of this site. Is there one similar to it where you can propose an actual small business rather than a project?

Crowd funding has been around for a while.

Here is how to make a successful Kickstarter project.

1. Base the vision of the project on a dead relative.
2. Say the project supports the gay community; whether true or not.
3. Create a short, to the point video. Don't speak to the camera. Do voice overs on dramatic footage that you created.
4. Profit.

Been looking for something along these lines to find funders for small start ups.
