And does so with an included diatribe against capitalism. It sure is easy to hate the capitalist system when "money is a joke," but also not your cash that you're burning.

What an arse.
quote:
Though most of his readers are from out of state or the country, Campbell said he believes there are backers in the Chicago area that gave him $75 two years ago and have not received their copies of "Sad Pictures for Children."
When asked by a reporter if he would be willing to have the donors pick up the books, since he cannot afford to ship them, Campbell said he would "consider it" but the plan is to still burn the remaining books and produce another video.

Hopefully he burned himself in the process. Those donors certainly did.

Im sure because it was a "Donation" that nothing can be done, but on the slim chance, could he be sued for obtaining money under false pretenses???

Yeah, it's capitalism's fault that people gave him $50,000 and he blew it.
What an idiot.
What an idiot.

"Well, I certainly feel like a chump now." -Kickstarter donor
Considering you profited the exact same amount off your investment as you would have if he had succeeded and become a billion dollar company - you were a chump to begin with.
I fail to get kickstarter. I get charity - and I get investment - kickstarter it seems tries to be the worst of both.
