well I fell to a spot where I wasn't familiar with who to get so here it is starting line up

Jrue Holiday
O.J. Mayo
M. Kidd-Gilchrist
Scola
A. Blatche

bench- J.J.Reddick, Austin Rivers, Shane Battier, A. Barganani, Beno Udrih

Probable 1 or 2 more just can't remember them off the top of my head. I played one game and I didn't do too well. Maybe you guys can point me in the right direction.

drop from the Online League. That's an absolutely horrible team. How many people are in this, and who was your first round pick? I am guessing Jrue was your first pick?

The 1st thing I recommend, and boy do I, TRADE JRUE HOLIDAY! Drafting him was one of the worst mistakes I've made yet in 2K14. Not that he's bad or anything, (Ok fine, he's bad.) he just doesn't fit what I myself do and I run as simple offense as possible: Get to the rim, only take the 3 if I know I can make it. Sounds simple but hey if it helps me get to 47-19 then I'll run it until I can't run it no more.

I'd say maybe trade him for a player you can develop such as Vic Oladipo. Maybe Oladipo and a 2nd for Holiday. Or maybe even Jrue for Jamal Crawford. (Trust me, you won't miss him) Even if Jrue is your franchise player, I can almost guarantee you will be better off with moving him while he has good value. What were his stats the first game? Maybe you can persuade someone to take him off your hands. Your weak areas are big men though. Try trading for some lower rated players such Ian Mahinmi of the Pacers. Some possible trade suggestions are : Udrih and a 2nd rounder for Mahinmi. Or you could try for a decent PF since you have Louis Scola starting which is a problem . Andray Blatch is a pretty good center to start.

But yea man if you could move Holiday for a quality big, or quality 2 then I say go for it. If I were you though, I would Mayo and Kidd-Gilchrist. They'll pay off in the long run.

Younger guys I like to use who people put "low value" into:

Gerald Green
Orlando Johnson
Ian Mahinmi
Lance Stephenson

Those are just a few; I'll name the rest once I get on 2K and look at the rosters again.

Is your defense struggling or is it your offense? From the looks of it, it's defense. Don't be scared to double team them once every 3-5 times they go down court. You'll force a bad pass every now and then and may get lucky forcing a turnover more often than not. The important thing to know is who you're playing and who you're guarding them with. If they have a lineup with mainly 3 shooters, hit pause, go to coach settings, defensive settings and adjust accordingly to who you're playing.

Also, what system you on?
