This is actually really tough for me to judge.
I will say my number 1 on this list is Wedding Singer. I hated it the first time I saw it because I wanted really over the top comedy like Billy madison and Happy Gilmore and I got a very clever, very funny movie instead. it is now my favorite Sandler movie far and away.
2. I want to say Memento because the second time I watched it, it was much easier to follow since I knew the pattern. Problem is that figuring it out was part of the intrigue of the movie.
3. Fifth Element is one. I'm not sure what I was expecting first time I saw it in theaters but I really didn't care for it much and now I watch it about every time I see it on.
4. The Gambler. I hated it the first few times I saw it because it was a shitty movie that my dad insisted on watching and now I actually like it myself.
5. the Hobbit is another one. I really didn't like it in the theater because I hadn't read anything about the new ones and didn't know it was a trilogy. I sat there thinking about how they would wrap up the story in the last 30 minutes and then they didn't and I was just irritated.
