I have never had freetail but everything I have had from Ranger Creek has been really good. I have been to the blue star brewery. The beer is decent and it's a nice place to spend a sunny spring or fall afternoon. It's the close to the river walk which is why I went there over the others.

Ranger Creek makes some pretty good beers. They also have some small batch bourbons. You might also want to check out Rebecca Creek Whiskey, damn good and they have distillery there.
