If you can polish off the growler with in a day or 2 its a good deal. But I don't think anybody on here drinks that much in a day.

At the prices you suggested, absolutely. I'd fill a lot of growlers at $12/pour. Think of it like standard beer. At 12 oz. a beer, that's 5 1/3 beers for about 13 bucks. Depending upon the beer, and if I'm drinking it in one sitting or can't get it elsewhere, yes please. A growler of something like Abita Amber, though, and I'm saying forget that.

Technically you are correct. He's currently in timeout.

Back on point. I have 2 growlers. One is a liter and one is a 2 liter. I can fill the liter for 6-9 bucks depending on the beer. The larger one is a better deal but not the best for one person.

It's not cheap, but a bit cheaper than a bar. I'm sure as heck not putting crap in it though and not beers like Sweetwater, Goose Island, Bells, Lagunitas, etc. either.
