Russia Test Fires ICBM - Will Obama become a Kennedy or a Carter (or worse)?

Ukraine, Cuba, nuclear subs in the Gulf, and now a test firing of an ICBM...Putin is signaling the world as well as Obama about his intentions.
Does Obama have a play left on the chess board, or has he already been defeated?

Why don't we start announcing new natural gas contracts with European countries? Shouldn't that be equivalent to firing our own ICBM?

On the other side of Asia the Chinese are testing missiles with the range to reach Guam, and exerting pressure when and where ever they desire to do so. Is there a pattern in these events? Can we expect more strongly worded statements from DC as a result of these developments?
