The problem is that if you let a child get whatever they want for 18 years and then say "no" for anything, they're going to flip out.
Those parents are 100% to blame for how their daughter turned out. You don't want a spoiled, entitled brat? Don't nurture a sense of entitlement and don't spoil your kid.
These people are freaking out because the kid they spoiled is acting like a spoiled brat. You reap what you sow.

maybe, but she should in no way be entitled to what she is claiming she deserves.

What sense of entitlement?
I have no problem with parents rewarding their children for following rules, staying out of trouble, making great grades, and being respectful young adults.
I also have no problem with parents taking away those rewards when those same kids suddenly feel that they no longer have to abide by those rules when they finally get a taste of the penis, (or vagina), and/or they start hanging out with some new "friends" whose parents let them get away with anything and now the kid feels that they should be able to do the same
