This is when the walking dead writing becomes flawed.
In the middle of the woods and she wants a drink out of no where. So what does she do?
Trudge through the forest to find alcohol? Huh? Just a silly way to progress the story

Well, I think part of her point is she wants to get to someplace with houses and buildings. And he wants to stay in the woods.
