I currently reside in this area, and, I am a proud native son of Louisiana.
I haven't heard anything new about this economic "boom" that is expected for this region.
Can the OT please share what you know or heard about this exciting possibility?
The western parts of Louisiana are beautiful, and, there is PLENTY of room for growth. The hilly parts are quite beautiful.
Could this potential economic boom possibly trigger some population growth out here?
Or will this part of the state always be the sparsely populated buffer region between the Spanish Empire and the French Empire in the New World?
Thanks.

you do realize that spain had Louisiana longer than the French right? also, there was a lot of French influence in Texas. Just move to Texas and get it over with because SWLA gonna SWLA. It will never amount to much.

With no MS river. The river is the reason for the industry.

New Orleans itself is having a nice boom. Louisiana could have the coffers over flowing if it wasn't for the politicians.
