Idk about direct, but
You can watch dish from your phone if you have a sling box. But it has to be whatever is on the tv at the house. You can change channels from your phone and it changes the channels at your house.
Husband works nights and pisses me off with this shite sometimes.

If you have a slingbox you can watch anything that is on your house tv on your phone. Dish, direct or cable
