I never claimed to be good at english.. and I still have issues with this. I thought about it awhile, and probably still got it wrong.. I frick up they're, their, and there too... but I know right and wrong with them... effect and affect gets me all the time though. Even if I think about it.

People are easily taught and manipulated, just the same as animals. Positive or negative reinforcement, for example.

Very true... I guess it's not so much the believing part that amazes me, but the grasping part. And probably alot of it has to do with a good teacher... 100 years ago I'm sure electricity seemed like magic... but if you compare it with something like the flow of water it is easier for people to grasp.
