Actually, since he had little if any experience with zone at LSU the leap is further. Man coverage is truly a lot simpler intellectually. Just like some players don't have the build for a position, some may not have the mind for it. That was an essential problem with Spags scheme. Too much thinking and not enough purer reacting.
